The undead golem hones in on the group of vacationing teens responsible for the theft and proceeds to methodically slaughter them one by one in his mission to get it back – along with anyone in his way.

With the film, Nash has fashioned something truly extraordinary – a film that manages to be brilliantly original while at the same time paying homage to ‘80s horror classics like the Friday 13th series and Evil Dead, as a group of young campers are mercilessly stalked in the woods. Told from the point of view of the killer, it features some astoundingly orchestrated and intensely gory kills that have to be seen to be believed – including the now infamous, ‘Pretzel Kill.’
Beautifully shot in the Canadian wilderness, with a nerve-wrackingly eerie sound design, In A Violent Nature is the shocker to see in 2024. Devilishly entertaining, excruciatingly tense, brutally shocking and daringly different, it stands out from other modern horror films like an axe in a cutlery drawer.
