Just yesterday we brought you a brand new poster for Batman: Caped Crusader and we had a feeling something more was coming. Now we finally have a first look at the series with a brand new trailer for season one. The animated series, hailing from the minds of Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves, is slated to premiere on Prime Video globally from August 1, 2024.
A new synopsis for the series reads: Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human—the Batman. His one-man crusade attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications.
