Okay hear us out. We might only just be in May but that’s no reason not to start planning your streaming watchlist for June 2024. Today we’re taking a look at titles coming to STUDIOCANAL Presents, the essential streaming destination for great films and television featuring an incredible library that includes box office hits, critically acclaimed award-winners and lovingly restored classics. Available on Apple TV, Prime Video and itvX.
In June the channel resurrected a gothic chiller from 2001 which is long overdue for a resurgence, the brilliant The Others starring Nicole Kidman. For those who prefer something a little more heartwarming there’s the classic Morris From America. Or if you’re looking for some classic British TV then June will also find the third series of The Avengers streaming in full.

The Others A hit gothic chiller directed by Alejandro Amenábar, starring Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies), Bafta-nominated for her astounding role as a woman living in a creepy, secluded mansion that might be haunted.
Morris From America Heartwarming and hilarious coming-of-age tale starring Markees Christmas as a 13-year-old would-be rapper trying to find his feet after moving to Germany with his dad (Craig Robinson, Hot Tub Time Machine).
Darkland The formidable Dar Salim (star of Guy Richie’s The Gentlemen TV series) is a doctor-turned-killer in this intense thriller, attempting to avenge his brother’s death by wiping out all the criminal gangs in Copenhagen.
Monsieur Hulot’s Holiday (1953) Comedy legend Jacque Tati’s irresistible, timeless classic sees the director star as the accident-prone bachelor who takes a trip to a seaside resort, where he unwittingly creates chaos – many many years ahead of Monsieur Bean!
Jour de Fête (1949) Jacques Tati‘s delightful directorial debut, where he plays a postman in a sleepy French town, who attempts to emulate the high-speed efficiency of the American postal service – only to cause mayhem.
Room At The Top (1958) A superb adaptation of John Braine’s bestselling book, directed by Jack Clayton (The Innocents), with Laurence Harvey (Bafta and Oscar nominated for his role) as an ambitious young man who starts an affair with a married woman (Simone Signoret, who won the Best Actress Oscar).
The Avengers – Series 3 (1963/64) Patrick Macnee is John Steed, a secret agent, and Honor Blackman is Catherine Gale, an anthropologist and adventurer, continuing their crime solving escapades in this beautifully restored British cult TV series. Game of Death Losing is not an option in this action spectacular starring Wesley Snipes (Blade, Demolition Man), kickboxing champion Gary Daniels (The Expendables) and stunt legend Zoe Bell (Death Proof).
