Surprise! Bet you never saw this one coming today. James Gunn has revealed our first official look at David Corenswet suited up as the Man of Steel in 2025’s Superman.
The suit itself appears to be quite textured like other recent big screen versions of the character. The detailing itself looks different to what we saw in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel suit. Instead Gunn and costume designer Judianna Makovsky have crafted a suit with more panelling, similar to the New 52 era from the comics. The addition of the collar adds to the New 52 vibes as does the brighter overall colour scheme.

Whilst the suit itself looks incredible, we also can’t help but wonder what on Earth is going on outside that window. Has Braniac come to Earth? Is this a hint that Bizarro, rumoured for some time to be part of the film, really will be making an appearance?
The film’s already stacked cast includes David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho. It was recently confirmed that Nicholas Hoult will take on the role of Lex Luthor.
