It turns out the rumours may just have been true. A new teaser for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part Three has revealed a first look at the classic Batman: The Animated Series Dark Knight and Joker.
Earlier this evening Warner Bros. debuted a thirty second “Coming Soon” spot which is packed with exhilarating footage from the conclusion to the classic comic book storyline. As our heroes appear to face certain doom at the hands of the Anti-Monitor there’s a montage of footage featuring variants of plenty of classic DC characters. But it’s the appearance of the late Kevin Conroy’s Batman and Mark Hamill’s Joker which will cause headlines.
It’s been rumoured for some time that Conroy recorded dialogue shortly before his passing. With Hamill returning one final time alongside his long-time friend and colleague. Just how both characters will factor in to the film is yet to be confirmed. But either way this footage has us very excited for the film’s release.
