In what is turning in to one hell of a month for trailers, 20th Century Studios has just surprised us all with a first look at Fede Alvarez’s upcoming Alien: Romulus. The film, original conceived for a streaming release on Hulu, has now been confirmed to release theatrically in August 2024.
Set between the events of Alien and Aliens, this latest entry in the long-running franchise will follow a group of young colonisers whose mission goes hugely awry. While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, the group comes face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe. We wonder who that could be?!

The studio has also debuted a terrifying poster for the film complete with a Xenomorph ready to devour us for its lunch. Check out the poster below:
The film is set to star Cailee Spaeny (Civil War), Isabela Merced (Superman), David Jonsson (Industry), Archie Renaux (Morbius), Spike Fearn (The Batman), and Aileen Wu.
Alien: Romulus comes to UK cinemas on August 16, 2024.
