Shake, shake, shake, Senora, shake it all the time. Warner Bros. has dropped the teaser poster for Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice 2, now known to be titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The release of the poster has also confirmed the film will be coming exclusively to cinemas in September 2024.
Little is known about the sequel at this time, no official synopsis has been released. We do know the film will heavily feature the returning Michael Keaton as Betelgeuse once again causes havoc for the Deetz family.
The poster itself teases the return to the Afterlife as Betelgeuse himself pulls out a ticket to joining the waiting room queue. Of course that in itself is a reference to the final scene in the first film when his was banished back to hell and forced to join an eternal queue.
Alongside Keaton will be the returning Catherine O’Hara as Delia Deetz and Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz. Joining them will be Jenna Ortega as Lydia’s daughter Astrid, Monica Bellucci as Betelgeuse’s wife, Willem Dafoe and Justin Theroux.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice comes to UK cinemas on September 6, 2024.
