Declared one of the best comics of the year by Nerdist, the second chapter of IDW Publishing’s cozy horror series Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees is being rushed back to the printer after selling out at the distributor level.
Written, illustrated and colored by Patrick Horvath, lettered by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, the second printing of issue #2 goes on sale February 7, 2024. This comes after the debut issue also sold out and received a second printing.
“Every day I’m more and more amazed at how well this little book is doing,” said Horvath. “Huge thank you to all of the readers and shops for continuing to give this book a chance and spreading the word. And a huge thank you to IDW for all of the support they continue to put behind this. It’s a major wind in my sails, and it means the world to me.”
Maggie Howell, Group Editor, Originals, knew the series was something special when she first read the pitch. “Patrick is being modest, but this doesn’t surprise me at all. Just look at it! [The series] was a perfect pitch and the finished product is irresistible. I’m so happy it’s found the twisted readership we dreamed it would.”
Fans and retailers have until December 18, 2023 to pre-order the second printing of Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees. Contact your local comic shop for more information.
