Netflix’s Geeked Week is the gift that keeps on giving. Netflix and Riot Games have confirmed that the highly anticipated second season of Arcane, the hit animated series based on League of Legends, will return in November 2024. It’s a long wait, but we know it’ll be worth it.
To celebrate the announcement, Netflix released a very short teaser showing Jinx walking across a bridge with her signature minigun. A haunting version of “Dear Friend Across The River” plays in the background. It’s not much to go on, but it’s enough knowing that Arcane‘s will be back nexy year.
Not much is known about season two in regards to the story and characters. The first episode will have to deal with the stinger in season one’s finale, of course. But as of right now, it’s hard to predict where the show will go, especially with an extensive catalogue of characters to use, and a bunch of potential teases from the first season.
What we do know is that Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Viktor, Jayce, and Ekko will be back for another epic, heartbreaking, and intense journey through Piltover. Are you excited for season 2? Let us know in the comments, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more from the world of Arcane.
The first season is available in its entirety exclusively on Netflix right now.
