In November, ARROW are proud to present two documentaries from Paul Joyce – Hockney On Photography and Other Matters, in which the celebrated and innovative artist David Hockney,  considered one of the most influential British artists of the 20th century, talks about his 40-year love affair with photography; and Growing Up With John Waters, where the self-proclaimed ‘Pope of Trash’ and king of US Independent Cinema (director of the likes of Female Trouble, Pink Flamingos, Polyester and Hairspray) discusses his traumatic childhood in Baltimore and the films which came out of these experiences.

Also showing in November, Kamikaze Girl, starring Kyoko Fukada (The Ring 2, Dolls) and Anna Tsuchiya (Dororo and Sakuran) as two misfits who form a unique and riotous friendship. Born from the pages of favourite cult author Novala Takemoto, Kamikaze Girlsis a frenetic roller-coaster ride brimming with day-glo visuals and wild hilarity that you will never forget!

Watch the November trailer in the player below:

Seasons include Inside the Mind of Coffin Joe: Part One, featuring cultural icon Zé do Caixão (Coffin Joe), the creation of Brazilian filmmaker José Mojica Marins, who wrote, directed and starred in a series of outrageous movies from 1964 to 2008. Included in the first of two seasons are five lurid horrors by Marins, as well as newly-restored doc The Strange World of José Mojica Marins, a love letter to one of the great iconoclasts of horror.

Next month’s Selects include picks from actor, writer and magic man Andy Nyman, who has starred in films such as Severance, Kick-Ass 2 and Death at a Funeral, as well as starring, co-writing and co-directing Ghost Stories; and cult horror filmmakers Brian Lonano & Blake Myers, co-directors of the utterly bonkers Content: The Lo-Fi Man, debuting on ARROW in December; as well as Steven Kostanski, the writer/director/producer of films including The Void and Psycho Goreman.

Other seasons in December include Lonanorama: The Brian Lonano Collection, a collection of films by the truly outrageous director, led by the festival decimating Content: The Lo-Fi Man, and also including the utterly outrageous Gwilliam and gruesome comedy-horror Crow Hand!!!; and  Found Footage a collection of the unearthed, the dangerous, the forbidden and the behind-the-scenes, including The El Duce Tapes, Phantom and Kolobos.
