Just because we’re heading in to Halloween weekend doesn’t mean that horror season is over. Far from it! Sony Pictures is gearing up for the November release of Thanksgiving and today we’re taking a look at a brand new vignette featuring director Eli Roth.
In the video Roth discusses his joy at finally taking a stab out of the slasher genre. He shares his passion for creating a project that stands alongside the likes of the legendary Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer movies.
Watch the featurette in the player below:
After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorises Plymouth, Massachusetts – the birthplace of the holiday. Picking off residents one by one, what begins as random revenge killings are soon revealed to be part of a larger, sinister holiday plan. Will the town uncover the killer and survive the holidays… or become guests at his twisted holiday dinner table?
Directed by Eli Roth and written by Roth with Jeff Rendell, Thanksgiving stars Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Brooks Thomas, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman and Gina Gershon.
Catch the film only in cinemas from November 17, 2023.
