As we head in to the weekend it’s time to take a first look at an upcoming book from BOOM! Studios. The publisher has revealed a first look at the final issue of Fence: Redemption, the four-issue limited series from the GLAAD Media Award-nominated sports comic from USA Today bestselling author C.S. Pacat (Dark Rise), acclaimed cartoonist Johanna the Mad (Wynd), colorist Joana Lafuente, and letterer Jim Campbell, available in September 2023.
In the FINAL ISSUE of The GLAAD Media Award-nominated sports comic’s latest chapter, Seiji gets an up close and personal look into Nicholas’ past, and a clearer picture of just how much determination it took for Nicholas to overcome adversity and a rocky start. While preparing for the difficult road ahead and the State Championships, and (especially) while spending some hometown time together, they’re faced with a tempting thought… is this… a date?
