    20th Century Bringing Home Rob Savage’s THE BOOGEYMAN on Digital in the UK From August 29

    Just in time for us to start the transition from summer to Spooky Season, 20th Century Studios has announced UK digital release plans for Rob Savage’s brilliant adaption of Stephen King classic The Boogeyman.

    The studio has confirmed details on the bonus features that will come packaged with the film when it hits digital platforms across the UK on August 29, 2023.

    In our three-star review of the film, Neil said “Though The Boogeyman may not be terrifying, it will certainly go down in history as one of the better King adaptions. Thanks to committed performances from all three leads the film lands with heart and scares in equal measure. Once again, director Rob Savage has proven he is more than capable to be one of the biggest names in horror.”

    Relive your most terrifying childhood fears when The Boogeyman, “the scariest horror film of the year” (Matt Donato, IGN) arrives at digital retail including Apple TV App, Sky Store and Prime Video on the 29th of August. Horror fans can add the film to their movie collection and access exclusive bonus features including a behind-the-scenes look into director Rob Savage’s vision for this frightening tale along with outtakes and more.

    Film Synopsis
    In this horror-thriller from the mind of Stephen King, two sisters — along with their therapist father — are reeling from their mother’s death. When a desperate patient comes to their home, he leaves behind a terrifying entity that feeds on its victims’ suffering.
