Deadpool 3 has gone somewhat quite since the news regarding Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine. However, today delivered an incredibly exciting update. Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to announce that The Crown‘s Emma Corrin, who is also starring in Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu, has joined the “Deadpool family” and will star alongside Jackman and Reynolds.
According to a report by Deadline, Corrin will apparently be playing Deadpool 3‘s main villain. Details concerning her character are currently unknown, but if Emma is facing both Deadpool and Wolverine… Then they must be rather powerful. Let the speculation begin!

Deadpool 3 will arrive in cinemas on September 6th, 2024 and will be written by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin. Free Guy‘s Shawn Levy will be directing Deadpool’s debut into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
