Review
In this issue we see General Cov’n and his team of alien warriors beginning to scoure the test sites to gather samples and intel to develope the new race, but as the soldiers begin to hunt it becomes clear that they are not alone and it isn’t just them that are doing the hunting, they are about to find out that they are in fact the hunted. In a story of post Earth life All Against All shows the dangers of a rebirth, that what Genral Cov’n thought it would be a straight forward cleansing allowing him to start his new master race has turned into something far more complicated and potentially deadly.
So far as a story I am on the fence, I wouldn’t say I’m hooked yet but I feel there is definitely enough in it to keep me intrigued to want to know more and that is down to the writing of Alex Paknadel who has layered the story enough to make you wa t to learn more and understand the ins and outs of this so called perfect new world.
The strength of this comic really is in the illustrations, Casper Wijngaard just has to be my favourite artist in comics right now, his signature style screams at you from the page. Bold colours and striking images bring to life each panel and elevate the story
Verdict
As I said earlier I am on the fence up to now, I certainly don’t hate it as the story has me intrigued enough to want to learn more, I am hoping that the story will open up from the next issue and begin to come alive.
