Marvel Studios is gearing up to get cameras rolling on Agatha: Coven of Chaos, the long-awaited sequel to 2021’s WandaVision. In readiness, a handful more cast members have been confirmed for the Kathryn Hahn led series.
The latest name to join the fray is Debra Jo Rupp, another WandaVision star who has signed on to reprise her role. Rupp played Mrs. Hart, another real world victim of Wanda’s control over the town of Westview. She joins Buffy-alum Emma Caulfield Ford who will reprise her role as Dottie.
It has also recently been confirmed that Aubrey Plaza has joined the cast. The Emily the Criminal star is playing an as-yet undisclosed role but safe to say she’ll be a prominent face amongst the cast.
Also starring are Heartstopper star Joe Locke who is reportedly playing the male lead, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata and Patti LuPone. Details on all the newly casted roles remain under lock and key.
WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer serves as writer and executive producer on the spinoff. The series is expected to premiere later in the year.
