We can’t quite believe we’re saying this, but next week brings the midseason finale of Doom Patrol season 4. Much like Titans, the latest season of our favourite band of DC misfits has gone by far too fast. With just one episode left, Rita (April Bowlby) and the gang has a lot to do to try and stop the rise of Immortus. Will they be able to save the universe in time?
“Hope Patrol” is written by Ezra Clayton Daniels and again directed by Christopher Manley. The episode streams on HBO Max in the US on January 5. Here’s a sneaky peek at the synopsis:

The series stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade, Michelle Gomez, Skye Roberts, Riley Shanahan, and Matthew Zuk.
The fourth debuts with two episodes on Thursday, December 8 on HBO Max, followed by one episode weekly through January 5. An additional six new episodes from season four will be released in 2023. UK airdates are yet to be confirmed.
