We promised you it was coming and now it’s here: the final trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water! The latest look at James Cameron’s long-awaited sequel arrived online overnight following its TV debut during Monday Night Football in the US.
Though the new trailer doesn’t give away much of the film’s story, it’s still packed with stunning new footage from the film.

The highly anticipated sequel is set more than a decade after the events of the first film. This time round, we’ll be following the Sully family- Jake, Neytiri, and their kids. The sequel will dive into the troubles that follow them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, and the tragedies they endure. We’re in for quire an emotional and epic ride, and you won’t want to miss it on the big screen.
Directed by James Cameron and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau, the film stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement and Kate Winslet.
Avatar: The Way of Water will be released on December 16th, 2022 exclusively in cinemas.
