Today Sky announced that the highly anticipated series, The Last of Us, will air exclusively on Sky Atlantic and NOW on January 16th, 2023. What a way to start the new year, right? Now, much like Games of Thrones and House of the Dragon, superfans won’t miss out on the global excitement. However…. You may be required to sacrifice some sleep to ensure that you avoid that dreadful spoiler minefield in the morning. Each instalment of this 9 episode series will be available at the same time as the US premiere each week at 2am and on demand thereafter.
To properly celebrate this news- which is both brilliant and daunting- we also received a brand new poster which takes us straight into the heart of the story. Are you guys ready to witness this desolate world that Joel and Ellie are forced to traverse? We’re certainly not, that’s for sure.

The Last of Us story takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival… Players of the game will of course know that brutality and torture that awaits us.
