DC Comics has announced that 2023 will see the return of Batman: The Adenvtures Continue, the original series set in the world of the critically acclaimed Batman: the Animated Series. Written by series writers Alan Burnett and Paul Dini, the series is set to return to comic book stores in January 2023.
The series first launched in April 2020 as a digital-first publication serving as a continuation of the 1992 TV series and its 1997 sequel, The New Batman Adventures. The first season consisted of seventeen chapters, concluding in December 2022. Those chapters were then collected in print. The second season ran for seven print issues and concluded in December 2021.
