King Spawn #15 is published by Image Comics, written by Sean Lewis and Todd McFarlane, illustrated by Thomas Nachlik, coloured by FCO Plascencia and Sheila Saldána and lettered by AndWorld Design.

Issue #15 is available 5th October 2022 either directly from Image Comics online or from your local comic book store, digital copies will be available to download from the usual content providers.

    Synopsis

Spawn is KING. All hail the KING! Unfortunately like in any monarchy plots are already in motion to depose the ruler and send him to a place even worse than HELL…

    Review

In this issue we start off observing through the eyes of the darkly evil Clown as heaven and hell descend into all out chaos we begin to get a grasp of who is pulling the strings. Spawn is at a crossroads in life when he needs to make a choice but his choice will not only have an impact on his life his choice will impact the entire human race, his heart belongs with his true love and Hell’s throne but does he choose to stay on Earth and fight for the muliverse, although Spawn has a confident approach to the way he tackles problems and in the most case I would say rightfully so you can’t underestimate the power of The Clown, all roads are leading to an explosive ending for this arc.

The writing of this series just gets better and better, Sean Lewis has captured the true essence of the Spawn multiverse with an arc that is relentless in its approach and doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon with the added benefit of having Todd McFarlane on board the writing has a next level of polish to it.

The artwork once again is of an incredible level, Thomas Nachlik keeps the feel of the Spawn world but somehow takes the level that bit more darker good advice would be not to read before bed The Clown will definitely give you nightmares. The cover art (pictured above) shows King Spawn in all his regal glory as he glares down on those below.

    Verdict

I can’t fault this series and nor do I want to, from the very first issue I’ve been hooked. The story arc keeps the level of anticipation high and leaving you wanting the next issue. The story has grown throughout the issues and now is gearing up to an phenomenal ending.
