This week, DC Comics kicks off the return of Kal-El in Action Comics #1047. The original Superman has been off world with his son Jon filling in as the Man of Steel. But with “Kal-El Returns: Chapter One” writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson begins plotting Clark’s return.
