Review
In this issue we take a look at Medieval Spawn and find out the origins of Plague Spawn as we take a journey back to the Medieval times and get an understanding of how it all began and discover the hatred behind the Medieval mask. The group are under siege from the Sin Devourers and still feels like they haven’t got the upperhand.
The Scorched must make choices as it unfolds that Natasha has been touched by the Plague Spawn and killing it may be the end of Natasha also but what choice do they have? It’s decision time and it’s for the greater good, but what will it be?
Sean Lewis has again wrote an incredible story that grips you at the very core, a series that just gets better with each issue and I would go as far to say it’s probably the best story arc out there at the moment and that is a credit to Sean and his team.
The illustrations from Stephen Segovia are in keeping with the “Spawn” theme, intensely graphic with deep and dark tones throughout, the creative team have pulled out the stops to create a visual masterpiece once again.
Verdict
Another 5⭐️ book from the Spawn multiverse, a story arc that gets better with each issue and definitely is one of the best arcs out there at the moment.
