Thor’s arrival is approaching. The strongest avenger is gearing up for his return to the big screen where he’ll ditch that Dad bod for his extremely buff God bod. As we’ve seen with Marvel, each installment provides an opportunity to give the audience something different when it comes to the hero costume. Iron Man has had countless suits. Spider-Man has had a bunch. Even Captain America has gone through quite a few variations. Thor’s suit, on the otherhand, has remained somewhat the same. However, Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder has presented us with a newly designed suit that deviates away from what we’re used to. Yet, there is still something familiar about it. It was only a matter of time before Hot Toys got involved…
Meet the new Thor. This new version of the God of Thunder is simply sublime. Thor’s original suit will always hold a special place in our hearts, but this new suit gives the newly reformed god an incredibly powerful presence. The gold and blue combination works really well together, and it is so good to see his winged helmet once again- After its brief appearance in Thor (2011) they never gave it a real chance. Well, let’s take a better look at this beauty.

The deluxe edition, as always, comes with a few more accessories. Fans who pick up the deluxe version will receive an LED light-up helmeted head sculpt, interchangeable chest armor, one pair of armored arms, and lightning effect accessories attachable to the helmet.
There might also be an additional surprise coming… Hot Toys have teased an extra accessory that will come with both versions. This mystery accessory will be revealed later on, presumably when the film has been released. With this, it’s safe to assume that this accessory may be deemed as a spoiler to some degree. What could it be though? Hopefully we’ll find out soon.
Thor is set to be released towards the end of 2023-beginning of 2024. The Standard edition will cost roughly $305 (£260), and the Deluxe edition will cost $345 (£295). Once again directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and Christian Bale. The film will also see the return of the Guardians of the Galaxy including Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista and Vin Diesel.
Thor: Love and Thunder is set to hit UK cinemas on July 7th, 2022 from Marvel Studios and Disney. The film will then release in the US the following day, July 8th.
