Summer is upon us, but as far as we’re concerned that just means we’re one step closer to Halloween. Premium horror streamer Shudder has announced all of the titles which will be joining the service across the month of June including some huge new original films.

New joiners in June include Luke Boyce’s Revealer, an apocalyptic battle for survival in 1980s Chicago and writer/director Phil Tippett’s Mad God, Tippett’s feature directorial debut.

Also joining the service in June, available for the first time on SVOD, will be cult favorite creature features Alligator (1980) andAlligator II: The Mutation (1991) come to Shudder in stunning new prints scanned from the original camera negatives.

Here’s the full list of new original films and series joining in June:

    1st June

    What Keeps You Alive

On the eve of their one-year wedding anniversary, Jules and Jackie become embroiled in a merciless fight for their lives when they find themselves pitted against the most unexpected of adversaries: each other.

    2nd June

    Alligator

From director Lewis Teague (Cujo) and screenwriter John Sayles (The Howling) comes an unstoppable thriller with bite. A family returning from Florida decides their pet baby alligator is too much to handle and flushes him down the toilet. Meanwhile, Slade Laboratories is conducting secret experiments with animals and disposing of them in the sewer. The alligator, fending for itself, begins to feed on the dead animals, and grows. Now, twelve years later, after several mysterious murders, David Madison (Robert Forster, Jackie Brown) is on the case to find out who … or what … is killing people.

    Alligator II: The Mutation

Deep in the sewers beneath the city of Regent Park, a baby alligator feeds on the experimental animals discarded by Future Chemicals Corporation. Nourished by the toxic growth hormones and other mutating chemicals, the gator grows immense in size … and voracious in appetite. Now, it must kill to survive! It’s a classic confrontation between man and beast. This sequel stars Joseph Bologna (Transylvania 6-5000), Steve Railsback (Lifeforce), Dee Wallace (The Howling), Richard Lynch (Bad Dreams) and Kane Hodder (Jason X).

    6th June

When a demon escapes into New York intent on cracking open the gates of Hell, a group of elite, highly-trained exorcists must save the planet from eternal damnation! Contains strong language, violence and gore.

    The Incident

George, Max and Ricky work in the kitchen of a high security asylum. Good pay, minimum risk – they have no physical contact with the inmates. One night, just before dinner time, a big storm shuts down the security system, the doors open and the lunatics break loose. Help is on its way and should soon arrive. They just have to wait for it – and survive until then.

Marianne struggles against both the wall of silence from her colleagues and her mind as she tries to uncover the truth behind Manny’s drawings.

    20th June

Professor Nolter, a college science professor who believes it is man’s destiny to survive an uncertain future by evolving into a hybrid plant/human mutation. A night of fun and youthful debauchery takes a deadly turn as bodies begin to pile up, with each side thinking the other hides the killer.
