Spotify and DC Comics has announced a global debut for the first podcast in its new team up. Batman Unburied, from writer David Goyer, is set to his headphones across the globe from May 3, 2022.
The first project in a multi-year deal, Batman Unburied will debut in the US and UK, in addition Brazil, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, and Mexico will also be receiving versions of the podcast voiced by local talent.
Black Panther star Winston Duke will voice Batman. Co-starring alongside Duke are Hasan Minhaj as The Riddler, Jason Isaacs as Alfred, Gina Rodriguez as Barbara Gordon, Lance Reddick as Thomas Wayne, Toks Olagundoye as Martha Wayne, John Rhys-Davies as Dr. Hunter and Ashly Burch as Vicki Vale.

Written by Executive Producer and Batman Begins screenwriter David S. Goyer, Batman Unburied takes us on a new journey deep into the mind of Bruce Wayne, introducing a slew of dark twists and turns with a number of classic Batman super villains. Working as a forensic pathologist in the bowels of Gotham Hospital, the superhero must not only face his own mental demons, but also overcome them in order to save the citizens of Gotham.
