Disney and Pixar’s Turning Red is just around the corner and to celebrate its upcoming release on Disney+… We have a little treat for you. This larger than life animated film, which focuses on a huge red panda, actually introduces us to Disney and Pixar’s first ever fictional band. Say hello to 4*Town who are just about to go on a world tour. To get us pumped and ready for Turning Red, Disney has released a full version of one of their songs. The original song “Nobody Like U” and its companion lyric video are available to enjoy right now. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. You can check out the ultra catchy tune below.
Turning Red‘s soundtrack features three original songs (“Nobody Like U,” “1 True Love, “U Know What’s Up”) performed by the fictional boy band 4*Town, written by Grammy®-winning singer-songwriters Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell, with an original score by Oscar-, GRAMMY-, and Emmy®-winning composer Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, The Mandalorian). The digital soundtrack is set for release on March 11 and is available now for pre-save.
The voices behind Pixar’s first-ever boy band include Jordan Fisher as Robaire, Finneas O’Connell as Jesse, Topher Ngo as Aaron T., Grayson Villanueva as Tae Young, and Josh Levi as Aaron Z.
Pixar Animation Studios’ 25th feature film introduces Mei Lee (voice of Rosalie Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. And if that wasn’t enough, whenever she gets too excited, she “poofs” into a giant Red Panda- Surely it can’t be that bad, right?
