Review
To be fair I’d say that a comic that really needs no introduction is Spawn, the fine wine of comics just keeps getting better with age. It is a hard task to achieve keeping a long running series going but keeping it fresh and relevant each issue, this is definitely what the creative team have done Spawn never feels old and tired still as fresh as the first issue.
In this issue the story arc continues with Spawn deep in battle with Haunt but the scuffle turns into an unlikely union as the two powerhouses are convinced that they could be stronger together working to gather the answers to the heaven and hell war. An intense story builds up to a edge of the seat stand off finish leaving readers begging for the next issue.
Todd McFarlane basically is Spawn you can tell that he is passionate about the brand he has built, each story builds into a more expansive world, I’ve yet to find a Spawn story arc that I haven’t enjoyed each issue excites me more.
Carlo Barberi takes the reigns on the illustration front and pulls out top level drawings with each page ramped with the graphic action packed detail Spawn fans are used to. Once again another amazing job achieved by the creative team.
Verdict
Spawn #326 is another outstanding effort from the creative team. The long-running series continues to grow with every issue and never fails to feel fresh and new.
