Synopsis

Can they protect Earth and the Grid itself from the impending forces headed their way? That question will have to wait, because first they must defend themselves against a T-Rex attack!
Review
The second part of my second most awaited story arc is here, second only to The Eltarian War, I am more than over excited to finally get my hands on this to answer the questions from issue #1, I needed to find out more about the Phantom Ranger and why is he in some sort of grid power stasis?.
The battle the Morphin Masters have on their hands to keep the Grid and it’s power away from the Dark Spectre is of epic importance and one that might possibly be the biggest battle they have yet to face, there are choices that need to be made that could effect the very existence of the universe, either choice will have dramatic consequences but it makes for riveting reading that’s for sure. Ranger fans will most definitely enjoy this issue for differing reasons as you will get answers but you will also get drawn into another nail-biting story arc, it’s definitely a roller coaster ride I’m more than happy to stay on.
Nicole Andelfinger has captured the Power Ranger lore in epic fashion with this arc but also elevated it to a whole new level, with epic battles and emotional decisions my emotions were pulled in every direction, literally having to take a breath when I finished reading. The writing of the story arc is partnered perfectly with illustrations once again from industry legend Simone Ragazzoni, with equally epic illustrations capturing every movement from the pages making the reader feel every blow, it really is one epic ride reading this arc.
Verdict
There was only ever going to be one score for this book. I just knew the creative team wouldn’t let me down and they definitely didn’t, the arc is just building up towards a mind blowing conclusion and I can’t wait, if you are a Rangers fan then you most definitely need to be getting this arc in your collection straight away.
