It wasn’t so long ago that we were discussing whether Hot Toys would attempt to create the villains of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Funnily enough, we were also just talking about Willem Dafoe’s fantasy about playing the Joker when suddenly the Green Goblin popped up on our Instragm feed. A grin appeared on our faces when we quickly realised what we were looking at. Hot Toys did it. There is a Green Goblin figure coming out soon and it is absolutely fantastic.
That isn’t the only bit of exciting news though. This beautiful figure will also have a deluxe edition which comes with… Wait for it. A glider. That’s right. You’ll be able to display Green Goblin on his epic Goblin Glider. It’s almost like travelling back to the year 2002- Almost 20 years ago now- and witnessing the Goblin soaring through the sky with his sinister laugh echoing. As a child, the Green Goblin was a terrifying villain and words simply aren’t enough to describe our excitement. This figure looks utterly brilliant and they’ve nailed it yet again. It is simply perfect.

Pretty amazing, right? Now that the Goblin has his own figure, who could be next? With this figure, there is a chance that we could get not only a Doc Ock figure, but also a reissue of both Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man and Tobey Maguire’s. Imagine how great those figures would look with the artists currently working with Hot Toys today. The fans want it. We want it. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
