Following confirmation that Star Trek: Picard will return in March for its season season, we’ve now got a brand new image courtesy of TV Insider. As part of a preview of upcoming series for 2022, the website debut this new look at Picard as the reinstated Admiral shares a moment in his study.
It look like he’s deep in conversation with his Romulan housekeeper Laris (Orla Brady) with the character confirmed to return in season 2.
An interesting detail is the pin on Picard’s jacket. This is a new version of the Starfleet logo which we haven’t seen before. Picard co-showrunner Terry Matalas later tweeted that Picard’s outfit is an “homage to the Kirk movie era pins and uniform.”
In a huge update on the Star Trek franchise it was confirmed Picard will return to Paramount+ in the US on March 3. We fully expect new episodes to debut on Prime Video in the UK the following day, March 4.
