Tonight a brand new episode of Superman & Lois will air in the US on The CW. The episode, called “The Ties That Bind”, is directed by Arrowverse legend David Ramsey, better known as John Diggle.
Though Diggle isn’t expected to turn up in the episode itself there’s still plenty going on in the not-so-sleepy town of Smallville. After the reveal that Doomsday is on his way it certainly seems Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) will have a lot to contend with this season.
Here’s the full synopsis for “The Ties That Bind”:
DAVID RAMSEY “ARROW” DIRECTS THE EPISODE – Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) opens up to Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) about his ongoing struggle with visions and admits that there is only one person who might be able to help. Meanwhile, Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) receives some unexpected news and tensions begin to rise between Lois and Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik). Lastly, Sarah (Inde Navarrette) breaks plans with Jordan (Alex Garfin) to spend time with Natalie (Tayler Buck).

Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch who return as the titular characters. They will, in turn, be joined by Emmanuelle Chriqui as Clark’s ex-girlfriend, Lana Lang, Erik Valdez as Lana’s husband, Kyle Cushing. Dylan Walsh will portray Lois’ father, General Sam Lane. Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin also co-star in the series as Superman and Lois’ sons, Jonathan and Jordan Kent.
