Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has finally confirmed when UK fans will be able to get their hands on Denis Villeneuve’s epic Dune. The film will release on digital download from January 17 and comes to Blu-ray, DVD and 4K UHD on January 31.
As expected the release comes back with behind-the scenes featurettes which will take a closer look at how the visionary Villeneuve brought the book to life. In our review James called the film “a mesmerising and stunning adaptation” of Frank Herbert’s 1965 original.

The film will be available to own January 17 on digital download and also be available on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD beginning on January 31.
The film was produced by Mary Parent, Villeneuve, Cale Boyter and Joe Caracciolo, Jr., with Tanya Lapointe, Joshua Grode, Herbert W. Gains, Jon Spaihts, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt and Kim Herbert executive producing.
SYNOPSIS
“Dune” tells the story of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence—a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s greatest potential—only those who can conquer their fear will survive.
