Actor Dolph Lundgren has shared a new image of himself from the set of Warner Bros. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, confirming his return as King Nereus.
Lundgren returns alongside Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman and Amber Herd who returns as Nereus’ daughter, Mera. In the photo Lundgren can be seen in his trailer, preparing to head to the set to continue filming.
“Hanging out in my trailer on Aquaman 2.” he says in the caption. “Great script, great director, terrific cast and a fantastic crew. Really enjoying it! “
Little is known about the story for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom but with returning director James Wan at the helm it is sure to be another fun ride through the underwater realm of the DC Universe.
Currently in production, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is currently set to debut in theatres on December 16, 2022.
