Paramount+ has revealed the absolutely stunning title sequence for the upcoming Star Trek animated series, Prodigy. The studio has also confirmed that legendary Trek composter Michael Giacchino composed the title theme.
It was recently revealed that John Noble (Fringe) and Jimmi Simpson (Westworld) will be voicing the series villains. Noble plays The Diviner, seen in the series trailer as existing within some kind of large tank. Simpson plays Drednok, The Diviner’s loyal henchman.

It has also been revealed that composer Nami Melumad, a long time collaborator of Giacchino’s, will helm the score heard across the season.
“I am excited that I had the opportunity to write the main theme for Kevin and Dan’s latest project, and as always am thrilled to be a part of the ‘Star Trek’ family,” said Giacchino in a statement. “I’m especially looking forward to everyone hearing the incredible work of composer Nami Melumad, who will take the reins of scoring the episodes. Not only is she extremely talented, she is a true ‘Star Trek’ fan.”
Developed for TV by Kevin and Dan Hageman, Star Trek: Prodigy stars Brett Gray, Ella Purnell, Angus Imrie, Rylee Alazraqui, Dee Bradley Baker and Jason Mantzoukas. The series also marks the return of Kate Mulgrew as a holographic version of Captain Janeway.
