Warner Bros. has confirmed details for the UK home video release of the last movie from The Conjuring universe. Details include a brand new box set pulling together all seven movies from James Wan’s sprawling horror universe.
Witness the chilling terror and unknown evil when The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It arrives on Digital August 23, and on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD September 6. Directed by Michael Chaves, the film stars the returning Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as Lorraine and Ed Warren.
The Devil Made Me Do It reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.
The 4K UHD and Blu-ray release will contain a number of special features including:
- “By Reason of Demonic Possession” – An in depth look at the true story that inspired the movie
- “The Occultist” – Meet the terrifying new addition to the Conjuring Universe
- “Exorcism of Fear” – Delve into the making of the movie and the chilling exorcism scene that opens the film”
- “DC Horror Presents The Conjuring: The Lover #1” – A video comic that takes you deeper into the Conjuring Universe
The DVD release will include the standalone featurette “By Reason of Demonic Possession.”
Also, for the first time ever, fans will be able to bring home the complete seven film collection with The Conjuring Universe 7-Film Collection on both DVD and Blu-ray. The complete set includes:
- The Conjuring
- The Conjuring 2
- The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
- Annabelle
- Annabelle: Creation
- Annabelle Comes Home
- The Nun
