It’s been confirmed that two new cast members have joined the final season of The Walking Dead.
Deadline has confirmed that Hawaii Five-0‘s Ian Anthony Dale is joining the series as Tomi. A “long-time member of a group recently discovered by our heroes.” We’re taking that to mean he’s a resident of the Commonwealth. Tomi’s arrival also “continually impacts them in ways none of [the survivors] could imagine, or avoid.”
Dale will also be joined by Laurie Fortier. Whilst we know that her character is called Agatha, AMC chose to share no further details on who she is. A mysterious new villain perhaps?
These latest additions join the previously announced Laila Robins and Josh Hamilton who are joining the series as Pamela Milton and Lance Hornsby, respectively. Both are key players from the final issues of The Walking Dead comic book. Pamela serves as the Commonwealth’s governor, while Lance is the community’s bookkeeper.
The final season of The Walking Dead begins airing in the US on AMC from August 22, 2021. Viewers here in the UK can catch episodes streaming exclusively on Disnsey+.
