Disney has released the first trailer and poster artwork for 2022’s upcoming Pixar production, Turning Red.
Little is currently known about the film. It centres on Mei Lee, a young teenager struggling to come to terms with her strange ability to turn into a giant red panda whenever she’s too excited. When her mother turns up at school and causes a stir it soon becomes apparent that Mei Lee isn’t overly impressed with her special skill.

Directed by Domee Shi, Turning Red stars Rosalie Chiang as Mei Lee and Sandra Oh as Ming, Mei’s over-protective and over-bearing mother. The film is currently set for a theatrical release on 11 March, 2022.
