We have some very exciting news concerning DC’s upcoming Black Adam which stars Dwayne Johnson as the title character. The highly anticipated film has just entered its final week of production. The Rock took to Instagram to show off his incredibly physique and to share the exciting news. Black Adam has almost finished filming.
So what does this mean? Well, the film will finish filming this week and then enter post-production. But this is the stage where things could potentially get interesting. We really hope that Black Adam takes a more playful route when it comes to building hype. Just look at what Shazam did a few weeks ago. With Johnson playing such a big role, not just in the film but also in the overall process, it’d be great to see him get involved. Maybe a full costume reveal? We’ve already seen a fraction of it and if it’s anything like the new suits from Shazam! Fury of the Gods, it will be truly epic.

The movie is still over a year away so we probably won’t get a decent look for quite some time. DC still has Suicide Squad, The Batman and League of Super-Pets to get through before Black Adam makes his entrance. But we’re good at waiting. We’ve done it before and we’ll do it again. Imagine how Dwayne Johnson must feel… He’s been attached to this role for years. .
Plus, it’s not like we haven’t had anything. Dwayne’s own personal coverage has been fantastic. His posts may have not shown a lot, but it was great to receive small teases here and there. This is a passion project for Johnson, so we’re glad that he’s been able to channel that to get people excited. We certainly are.
