Apple TV+ has confirmed that viewing will be able to sink they teeth in to a second helping of The Morning Show this September. The Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon series will return to the streaming service with brand new episode from September 17, 2021.
Picking up where the first season left off, it seems that the titular show was quickly taken off the air after Alex (Aniston) and Bradley (Witherspoon) publicly aired their concerns about the network. It looks like Alex stepped down from the show and season 2 will follow Corey (Billy Crudup) as he sets out to bring her back to the screen.
Meanwhile Bradley continues to host the show alongside newcomer Eric Nomani, portrayed by Hasan Minhaj.
The official synopsis for The Morning Show‘s second season reads: “Picking up after the explosive events of season 1, season 2 finds the Morning Show team emerging from the wreckage of Alex and Bradley’s actions, to a new UBA and a world in flux, where identity is everything and the chasm between who we present as and who we really are comes into play.”
