    DISNEY+ Unveils An Unmissable Summer Of Streaming

    Disney+ unveils an unmissable line-up of new and exclusive titles arriving this summer including “Raya and the Last Dragon”, “Loki”, “Luca” and the award-winning “Soul”, alongside an ever-growing library of iconic TV series and blockbuster movies – all for just £7.99 per month or £79.90 annually.

    New exclusive titles for families to enjoy all Summer 

    Disney+ subscribers in the UK & Ireland will be able to stream both Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Raya and the Last Dragon” and the Emmy® award-winning, Disney+ Original anthology series “Genius: Aretha” starring Cynthia Erivo on 4th June, followed by the highly anticipated Marvel Studios’ series “Loki,” starring Tom Hiddleston on Wednesday 9th June. Disney and Pixar’s upcoming original feature film “Luca” will stream exclusively on Disney+ for all subscribers on 18th June, as well as Star Original and popular LGBTQ+ teen dramedy “Love, Victor” Series 2, and the Disney+ Original series “The Mysterious Benedict Society” starring Emmy® Award winner Tony Hale on 25th June. 

    The summer line-up continues with the animated Disney+ Original series “Monsters at Work” premiering on 2nd July, followed by Marvel Studios’ long-awaited “Black Widow,”launching simultaneously in cinemas and on Disney+ with Premier Access on 9th July. The Disney+ Original series “Race to the Centre of the Earth” from National Geographic will also premiere on the same day. Inspired by the classic novel by H.G Wells, “War of the Worlds” Season 2 starring Daisy Edgar-Jones will be landing exclusively on Star on Disney+ from July, followed by the Disney+ Original series “Turner and Hooch” and brand-new animated shorts “Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends”, both launching 16th July. 

    Marvel Studios’ “What if…?” will premiere in August, followed by the long-awaited final season of iconic post-apocalyptic thriller “The Walking Dead”, which will stream exclusively on Star on Disney+ from 23rd August. Star Original “That One Word – Feyenoord”, a behind-the-scenes documentary series about Dutch football club Feyenoord will arrive on Star on Disney+ on 27th August. 

    Even more iconic library titles for subscribers to discover 

    In addition to the all-new original titles coming this Summer, over 15 TV series and more than 50 movies will be landing on Disney+. Titles streaming in the UK & Ireland include seasons 1-10 of “The Walking Dead” launching on 2nd July and the last two seasons (10 and 11) of “The X-Files” landing on 13thAugust. 

    Movies include BAFTA®-award winning 90’s British comedy “The Full Monty” and political action thriller “Air Force One” streaming on 4th June. British comedy “Calendar Girls” starring Helen Mirren and Julie Walters (11th June), romantic cult classic“Coyote Ugly” (25th June), Wes Anderson’s comedy-drama “The Royal Tenenbaums” (16th July) and Academy® Award-winning British historical drama “Chariots of Fire” (23rd July) will also be available for subscribers to enjoy. 

    Disney+ is the exclusive streaming home of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and general entertainment brand Star in select markets. Star launched across Europe in February this year, adding hundreds of TV series and movies alongside a slate of Star Originals this year, including recent additions “Grown-ish”, “Dollface” and multi-Academy Award ® winning “Nomadland”.   

    Robust parental controls continue to ensure that Disney+ remains a suitable viewing experience for everyone in the family. Subscribers can set access limits on mature content and create PIN protected profiles, alongside the already existing Kid Profiles, to give parents and guardians peace of mind.
