It looks like The CW is bringing some flashback moments to a future episode of Superman & Lois. New set photos from JustJared have shown off actor Tyler Hoechlin in his Fleischer inspired Superman costume last seen in the series’ pilot.
Alongside Hoechlin was his on-screen wife, actress Bitsie Tulloch. Could this be a flashback to the moment Lois and Superman (not Clark) first met?

Fans of Superman & Lois will remember the costume well from the pilot episode. It was used in a scene which recreated the cover of Action Comics #1, the first appearance of the Man of Steel. In the scene Clark proudly proclaimed that the suit had been made for him by his mother.
After a six week hiatus, Superman & Lois returns to screens in North America on May 18 with the remainder of season one’s episodes.
Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch who return as the titular characters. They will, in turn, be joined by Emmanuelle Chriqui as Clark’s ex-girlfriend, Lana Lang, Erik Valdez as Lana’s husband, Kyle Cushing. Dylan Walsh will portray Lois’ father, General Sam Lane. Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin also co-star in the series as Superman and Lois’ sons, Jonathan and Jordan Kent.
