JustJared has released some brand new set photos from Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel. The latest shots from the set show lead Iman Vellani stepping out in a brand new, extremely comic-accurate costume as Kamala Khan.
Despite being only 16-years-old, the newcomer playing the title role cuts a heroic figure in her character’s superhero costume for the very first time on Friday night (April 30) in Atlanta, Ga. Head to the link in the tweet below for the fully gallery.

Production on the six-episode series has been ongoing for some time but is expected to wrap shortly. The directing duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and Meera Menon have all been confirmed as directors on the project. We got our first look at the series back last year.
Ms. Marvel stars Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha. The series will stream on Disney+ in late 2021.
