Back on First Contact day we learned that Star Trek: Lower Decks was returning to screens in North America in August. Alongside the announcement fans were treated to the first trailer for season 2. Well now we have some great news for UK fans as Amazon Prime Video has confirmed season 2 is coming later this year.
Unlike season one, which arrived in January is months after the US, we should have a much shorter wait for season 2. Prime has also released the trailer for UK viewers which you can watch in the player below:
The streamer also revealed a first look at season two of its hit original series Star Trek: Picard with an all-new teaser trailer. The teaser trailer was introduced by series star Sir Patrick Stewart during First Contact Day celebrations, which also revealed that season two will launch in 2022. The teaser formed part of the announcement that John de Lancie is returning to the series as Q.
