A recent cast announcement online has revealed that British actor Fabian Frankel will be cast in the upcoming Game of Thrones spin off House of The Dragon. Frankel is most known for role in the romantic comedy Last Christmas which incidentally starred Emilia Clarke most know for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones.
Frankel will play Ser Criston Cole, a member of King Viserys I Targaryen’s Kingsguard.
House of The Dragon will tell the story of the Targaryen family in Westeros and is set some 300 years prior to the Game of Thrones storyline. The drama is from the minds of co-showrunners Ryan Condal (Colony) and Miguel Sapochnik (Game of Thrones) and is set to start filming in the UK ready for its 2022 debut.
House of The Dragon is one of six GOT related prequel projects in the works at HBO.
