Game of Thrones’ Pilou Asbaek Joins AQUAMAN 2

With production due to start later this year, the cast of James Wan’s untitled AQUAMAN sequel has added a former Game of Thrones actor.

Though the sequel to James Wan’s Aquaman isn’t set to hit theatres until December 2022, production is currently getting ready to kick off. Today Deadline reports that a former Game of Thrones actor has joined the cast in an undisclosed role.

According to the trade Pilou Asbaek, known as the villainous Euro Greyjoy to Westros fans, has joined the cast. Asbaek is also known for roles in Ghost in The Shell, Overlord and Netflix’s Over the Wire. No details on his role have been made public so for now we’ll just have to play Guess Who with his character.

Little is known about the upcoming sequel whose script comes from David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.

James Wan returns to direct the sequel with Jason Momoa and Amber Herd both expected to return. Aquaman 2 is currently set to debut in theatres on December 16, 2022.
