John DeLancie Returning As Q For STAR TREK: PICARD Season 2

As part of the First Contact Day celebrations John DeLancie has been confirmed to return as Q for the second season of STAR TREK: PICARD.

Yesterday we celebrated First Contact Day, marking the occasion of first contact between humans and Vulcans on April 5, 2063. As part of the celebrations the folks at Star Trek and Paramount+ had a number of reveals for us.

First of those was the confirmation that John DeLancie will be returning as Q for a number of episodes in Star Trek: Picard season 2. The series, currently in production, debuted a teaser featuring dialogue from both Patrick Stewart and DeLancie teasing the impish character’s return.

Star Trek: Picard stars Patrick Stewart, Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Isa Briones, Harry Treadaway, Alison Pill, Jeri Ryan, Jonathan Del Arco and Evan Evagora.
