Alongside the debut of Zack Snyder’s Justice League a brand new version of Batman v Superman has become available. Snyder has gone back to the 2016 comic book mash up and re-coloured the film as well as restoring IMAX footage to its original aspect ratio.
The cut began streaming on March 18 on HBO Max and iTunes has now updated digital copies to include new bonus features and the updated cut. The remastered cut comes to Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray in the UK from April 26 and is available to pre-order now from Amazon.
Warner Bros. has today released a 10 minute clip from the film to show off the luscious new colours and the 4K, IMAX imagery. The scene in question is the brilliant fight sequence between Batman, in his The Dark Knight Returns armour, and Superman towards the films climactic conclusion.
