Legends collide in “Godzilla vs. Kong” as these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular
battle for the ages, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Kong and his
protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young
orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly
find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the
globe. The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the
beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.
Are you still with us? Good. Well, here you go.
There he is. Mechagodzilla. Ever since the first trailer and the toy leaks, it was only a matter of time before Warner Bros and Legendary would fully embrace their new mechanical Kaiju. When images of the Mechagodzilla toy started to surface, director Adam Wingard decided to chip in.
What role do you think Mechagodzilla will play in the upcoming clash between Godzilla and Kong? Much like Doomsday in Batman v Superman, it’s likely that the arrival of Mechagodzilla will cause the titans to stop their little argument and team up for a greater cause. Regardless, we have just over a week to go and we can’t wait.
