Warner Bros. has revealed that our first look at Mortal Kombat will arrive on Thursday. The studio has begun debuting new looks at the movies characters with new motion posters. Alongside the artwork it was revealed the trailer will arrive Thursday at 9am PT (5pm GMT).
The first character to be revealed was Sub-Zero, played here by Joe Taslim. Sub is seen wielding his legendary ice sword and wearing his trademark mask which was obscured in previous images from the film.

After revealing Sub-Zero we quickly got our next look at the cast with Josh Lawson as Kano:

Mortal Kombat stars Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Joe Taslim, Hiroyuki Sanada, Max Huang, Sisi Stringer, Matilda Kimber and Laura Brent. The film is set for release in theatres and on HBO Max on April 16, 2021.
